+ Light (for me anyway!) and a clean simple design. Easy to understand remote control device and the set up of the channels is very simple

- Sometime the picture quality is not as good as I expected. I suspect this is down to the programme though rather than the TV

+ Same picture quality as some of the other more expensive sony models. Has fewer inputs at rear of tv, however if you can get over that this tv is very good.

- Limited inputs at rear, this is reflected in the price. The same TV with 2 or 3 for HDMI slots is 200 more

+ The overall look of the set is pleasing, not to shiny and imposing.I like the sound quality as I have previously had surround sound, I did not want to have the clutter of speakers all around the sitting room. The picture quality is very good in a large room

- I find the background focus not always too good but that could be my eyes though as the clarity on moving objects is excellent.

+ As one who doesn't watch much TV, it seems to me to be a good all-round performer. The product was extremely easy to set up, including connecting my SKY+ box and DVD player. The remote control is very responsive, and the controls are easy to use. Menus are entirely intuitive.

+ Good quality of picture, very easy to setup, seems more compact compared to other 40" TVs

- Sound could have been better, our earlier CRT TV definitely had a better sound. However this could be addressed with our home theater system

+ Slim frame, nice top mounted on off button. Good remote. Picture quality on BlueRay exceptional, on DVD very close. Standard TV broadcasts on Freeview pretty good though some less popular channels seem to have worse picture quality, no probs with the big names though. Not tried on HD source (other than BluRay).

- Not many at all, in fact cant name any!

+ Love it...
Scored image quality a bit low because without HD channels or blue ray you don't experience the full hit.
Still absolutely brilliant though!!

- Only that it's a bit heavy for one person to lift & fit onto the stand.
