Sony Bravia KDL-32W5500 Reviews: Bravia, 32" Screen LCD Full HD 1080p TV

+ Picture quality full HD with adjustable motionflow, easy to set up and use with an on screen menu sytem. Ethernet connection to home network access's music, photo and video playback from the menu.

+ Very good image qualty (with sky hd box input, on hd channels,) reasonable to good image quality with sd input via the same box. Now I have Upraded my tv input to hd, the picture is as I would expect of a tv of this price. Also very good to extremely good image quality with blueray full hd input.
Sound acceptable. I have not checked out freeview yet as I dont need to.
Overall glad I bought this tv.

- None really, accept I wish I had bought a 37" purely for the size...[ If you want to watch only sd quality you only need hd not full hd. BUT then you wouldnt buy this tv, you would buy a cheaper one..] THIS tv does what it says on the box, plays full hd & hd, very well indeed.... see above good points

- Piano black surround is difficult to keep free from fingerprints, and seems to collect dust far too easily.

+ Very stylish - the TV actually looks like you've blown a few hundred quid on it, as opposed to some more "plasticy" looking TVs out there. Lovely picture on Xbox 360 games and DVDs. Was initially worried that the sound would be tinny, but all sounds good.
I took ages to choose this TV, and for a 32" I think it's awesome - full HD resolution and 100hZ at a fair price

- Built in EPG is ok, but once you've used Sky EPG everything else seems slow and labour intensive - hardly a gripe though.

+ Easy to set up, straight out of the box. Menu is simple and user friendly. Sony quality.

- Screen does not tilt forwards or backwards, when mounted on the supplied stand (unlike samsung models).

- Gloss black attracts dust and is difficult to keep clean, auto picture mode could work more effectively.

+ Initial set up is very easy. Standard definition picture is extremely good but once in high definition it has to be the best picture I have seen. With 4 HDMI connections it's easy to connect everything to it. All the on board menus are very easy to follow, it's very easy to tweak everything to your own liking.

+ Plenty of HDMI ports, more than most other Tv's, no need to switch the cable over I can run my Computer off it either using the VGA or HDMI connection with the sound coming out of the Tv or Headphones from the Computer. I can run my American PS3 with it.

- I cannot really thinl of anything important. I am using it more like a monitor than a TV, I don't actually have the Aerial plugged into it.

- Presentation of information on screen regarding set-up was somewhat confusing for me and it took some time to properly connect my satellite signal.

- Big delay when you turn the screen on, often have to wait 10 seconds before seeing a picture.
Also no auto sense on the inputs so you have to manually select which input your using even if only 1 is turned on. Not great sound quality for a TV or this price but you pay the picture!
