+ Ease of use. Very good images and potential to be creative. Its very enjoyable to use.

- None really but need to understand better ARW image copying to computer as images need to be in JPEG to send on.

+ Being a novice to SLR's, I found this camera easy to use and does everything I need, picked up a Sony telephoto lense in the US for about half the UK cost. Battery lasts for ever, brilliant camera in my humble judgement.

- Haven't found any yet.

+ Excellent picture quality.
Easy to use.
Comfortable. I myself have a bit of a big nose and don't have any issues when using the camera through the viewfinder.
'Live View' feature with tilting screen makes those awkward angle shots that bit easier.
Compatbible with Minolta lenses as well as all sony lenses.
Not too heavy.
Good build quality.
An excellent choice for a first timer who wants that extra quality over basic models when starting out.

- The only bad thing is that the lenses are a bit pricey. It isn't really a 'bad' point and don't let that deter you from this excellent choice of mid-range DSLR camera.

Iv started getting my portfolio together now as a hobby and it might have landed me a job.
Not as heavy as Id thought it'd be

+ Get much better picture quality from the "Auto" mode than I ever used to on my Cannon 350D. The built-in stead-shot feature is brilliant and the lens quality on the bundled kit is also very good.

+ Excellent live view functionality, easy to use, and the tilting LCD is really useful.

- Jpeg processing could be a tad quicker, and some people with big hands may find the grip a little small, but that's about it!

+ The body features are good but the buttons to the left of the screen are a bit awkward to use .
The image stabiliser is a very good especially in the body & not the lens.

- The 18-70 mm lens that comes with the body does not produce a sharp image even at high speed.
The macro is not macro as you can not get less than 18 ins from the subject such as flowers.
The accessories are rather expensive.
