Good points:: Very stylish and versatile cooker with six varied gas burners, including a powerful wok burner. Controls knobs feel sturdy, not cheap and loose like some other models. Great value for money - Very happy with this purchase!
Bad points:: Controls take a bit of working out. It takes three knobs to turn the main oven on!
Small oven is very narrow, so I will have to buy smaller pans to be able to use it and plates do not fit flat for warming.
Each oven comes supplied with only one shelf and a grill pan - but you can order extra shelves from the manufacturer.

Good points:: Looks great, good value for bottom end of range cooker market. Fan oven quick to heat, nice heavy cast iron supports. Good name at a very reasonable price.
Bad points:: Fingerprints everywhere! Will be lots of cleaning to keep outside shiny.

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Convection (or fan) ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction (convection or conventional) ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.

Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
