- not enough information about set-up with a router, all the examples shown were for american models not uk.I wasted 3 days because they did not explain about the IP pooling address.

+ Great product. Relatively easy to set up ( set up wizard didn't work for me but instructions were clear and easy to follow for a manual set up - if you're confident about configuring router settings etc) Streams SKY broadcast brilliantly between the UK and Seattle, USA and also on a wireless home network. My 'significant other' can now watch all the footy he likes! : )

- None for myself but I can see that configuring router settings might cause problems for some people.

+ relatively easy to set up, makes it easy to watch your own tv from anywhere in the world, which is useful when you're an expat

- picture occasionally freezes, you need good broadband at both ends to be able to use it successfully

+ Fantastic product that does what it says on the box with no complicated setup and great ease of use remotely.

- One minor detail is that you require more than 250k upload to get a good picture on a big tv. 1M (UPLOAD) and higher is best for our 50 inch.

+ It is great for me as I travel a lot with work and cannot get my sports when away from home. For those who watch sports online it is great

- I had to get an upgrade on my internet connection to be able to stream it.

+ I bought this product to watch my Satelitte Television while travelling and It does exactly what it should. I can watch, change channels and it buffers an hours worth of viewing allowing replays. Well worth the price I paid

- Picture resolution and clarity depends on the bandwidth of the connection but I have found it to be watchable at connection speeds greater than 175kbps Which is generally acheiveable on most hotels WIFI connections. At 300KBPS or higher then it is almost like watching from home. Remote control feature works well although it can disrupt the display while sending commands to your receiver.

Anonymous verified purchaser , “Digital TV Software Developer”

Score 4.0/10

+ It lets me watch TV from our Sky box on our laptops over our LAN.

- Picture quality is surprisingly poor, even when it is running at 6Mbits on a LAN. I should say I am running it on S-Video not component in but as a professional software developer who has worked on TV capture software myself I am not impressed with the quality achieved at those high bit rates. The frame rate is uneven so your picture always stutters, it does not support PAL resolutions (576i), it has a nasty artefact where the UV image seems to trail the Y image by one field causing a trailing blur on motion. This is a real shame as everything else about the package is decent enough. Also one other thing to watch out for, all the newer Sky HD boxes do not have a HD component output so you have to wire up via a SD connection e.g. S-Video like I have had to do.

+ Very easy to set up and use. Excellent for using abroad.

- Does not have integrated Wi-Fi - additional bridge required. No actual HDMI input- currently only available on USA model which does not work in UK.

+ Tv on the go and around the house over WiFi. It does what it says on the box. And it does it well.

- Disappointed that the promised iPhone client isn't available yet. Mac version of software seems like an afterthought. It should be easier to change aspect ratios and enter/exit control-mode.
For optimal UK quality it should (but doesn't) record in 576 or 288 lines rather than 480 or 240. As such, the high quality 640x480 setting is lacking the accuracy you'd get if you were in the USA.
