Score 9.0/10
Good points:
I am very impressed with the sound quality, Really well balanced mid and upper frequencies, and sharp and powerful bass. The bass started a bit 'boomy' for my liking but they are bedding in beautifully.
Bad points:
The ear phones are comfortable but it does take a bit of getting used to, and I have worn in-ears for a few years now.

And they don't tend to cancel as much noise as my SE-110's so when I get a moment I will experiment with the different size ear buds provided.

Good points:
Incredibly clear, louder sound.

The cable is made of wire and likely not to break easily.
Bad points:
They take a bit if getting used to / putting on but the sound and build quality outweigh this.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Good external sound isolation.
Very clear sound reproduction over the whole sound spectrum.
The incorporated 'memory wire' does work.
Great for on-stage monitoring.
Bad points:
Can be fiddly to fit inside the ear but once located they do stay put.
A tight fit is necessary for good bass response & this may cause some discomfort after prolonged use (but this is true of all in-ear monitors)

Great sound. Look good.

Your ears feel a little sore after wearing them for a while. Maybe the weight of the wire wrapping around the top of your ear.

Manufacturer's Description

The SE215 is the entry to Shure SE earphones. It features a Dynamic driver for a detailed, warm, sound with improved bass.

Sound Isolating Earphones were originally developed as Personal Monitor Systems to allow musicians to hear their own performances in loud onstage environments.
They work by using soft, flexible sleeves to block up to 90 % of the background noise. You can concentrate on your music, whether you are on-stage, in a train, on the street or working out. At the same time you can reduce the audio level to conserve your hearing.

The SE215 features a durable Kevlar® reinforced cable that allows easy replacement or customisation. The formable wire ensures secure placement, and over the ear configuration keeps cables out of the way. The gold plated MMCX connector has a lock-snap mechanism allowing 360 degree rotation for comfortable fit.

Because every ear is different, the Fit Kit includes an assortment of foam and silicone sleeves in different sizes. Experiment with the size and style that creates the best fit for you. A good seal is key to optimizing sound isolation and bass response as well as maximizing comfort during extended wear.

The SE215 comes with a basic fit kit that comprises of:

Transport Case
Black foam sleeves (S/ M/ L)
Soft flex sleeves (S/ M/ L)
