Sharp LC37D65E Reviews: Aquos, 37" Screen LCD Full HD 1080p TV

+ Slick design is very eye catching, the usb port is great, as I can charge my ipod whilst playing it through the tv.

- Live sports coverage games, sometimes has a haze around the players.

+ Easy to set up straight from the box.
Plenty of connections for a variety of add ons, including my PC.

- there is a syncronisation problem with some freeview channels, a bit like watching a badly dubbed movie.

+ Looks very nice, easy to use

- sound is not the best, gets hot

- The only problem is the design of the On/Off switch and buttons on the side. We have the TV across the corner of the room, so it is difficult to switch On/Off. It would be much more convenient to have them on the front.

+ The picture quality and sound are axceptional as is the visual look of this TV.We ditherred for months not knowing which make and model to purchase but decided we would buy yours as soon as we saw it.No regrets at all.

+ The tv is a good looking system and provides impressive picture quality, with clear sound. The auto tuning programme worked perfectly on both digital and analogue channels. Having both digital and analogue allows extra external equipment (I am using four at present) to be tuned in without conflict, when both scarts and the hdmi sockets are already in use.

- Very few bad points, but the time taken to switch between external inputs using the selection button can be a little annoying. But the list on screen of available scart or hdmi inputs is simple to follow when making a selection to a different input.

- If any !!! On /Off switch is rather out the way being out of site on the side of the set. We are both over 65...... no complaints really, should have noticed this when set was purchased

- TV is set across corner of the room, so the controls on the side cannot be seen. It would have been much better to have them on the front (best) or on the top (second best)

Great pitcure quality.
Fairly easy to configure.

- Is not very fast at responding to the remote. The EPG is too cluttered and difficult to read at a distance.
Some options are difficult to find in the system menu's. Switching inputs takes too long. Component video does not support interlaced picture format for Nintendo Wii.
Gloss black design is a magnet for dust and finger prints Make it matt black soft touch, that would be cool.
Sound quality for TV programs is awful. Needs a separate home theatre system, to make it sound any good.
Considering this TV supports full HD at 1080p, it would be good if the VGA input supported 1920x1200 resolution for PC input.

+ Nice design, like the ability to rotate so what angle you are in the room you can always have a straight line view, good features i.e usb port, multiple scart and HDMI sockets. Good sound and picture quality. Like the anti glare screen so you can watch in direct sunlight.

- Bit awkward to get teletext up, but that could be aerial problems.
