- Good points:
-
Price is the obvious best point - the image can be very detailed and realistic if you spend time calibrating to suit your taste.
It feels like you're in a cinema with this screen size - Bad points:
-
There is is some backlight 'clouding' issues in the bottom left on mine - but edge lit LCD all seem to have similar problems.
Sound quality is average, but i only listen through an AV amp

- Good points:
- The picture is excellent. I had been used to a Pioneer Plasma and this Sharp does not dissapoint. The blacks are very good indeed. Used with a sky box the channel change is as normal. Standard definition is absolutely fine unless you sit ridiculously close to the screen. The blu ray picture is excellent as is hd broadcast.
- Bad points:
- A small point - i would have liked the option to stretch the screen and watch hd without the bars top and bottom of the screen. The screen is large however and this is a minor distraction.

- Good points:
- As a tv the picture quality is excellent, on HD superb. The frame is not obtrusive and given the bulk of the speakers the stand off form the wall is not bad for this size at 90mm with the mount I used. Although I consider most of the similar tv's to be over priced this one at least is good value for money.
- Bad points:
- Bad points are only with the functions. Not many apps on NET tv for the UK, this may be different for other country's. The EPG does not have a page up down or +24 hrs
