Sebo X5 Extra Reviews: , Upright, Bagged Vacuum cleaner

+ straight forward no nonsense, easy maintenance (hopefully). Seems a quality product although I have only had the machine a short time I am very satisfied - todate.

- If there are any bad points, they will show in the future, but up until now everything seems fine.

+ Smart and compact,strongly made,good suction,cleans the carpets very well.The extra length hose is great for stairs.The disposable bags are roomy and should last quite a while.Its quite quiet and weight is managable.if your a female.

- It does not come with an upholstery brush which would of been better than a dusting brush which is included.The lead is long so takes a bit of winding.Extra tools are expensive and bags,filters need replacing eventually,prob,2 years.

+ Best vacuum cleaner that I have ever used. Sebo was reccomended by the cleaner at the office where I worked and she was right.

- Expensive. Heavy so if you are a little old lady then you will not assemble it or lift it.

I LOOK FORWARD TO HOOVERING MY CARPETS NOW. EASY TO PUT TOGETHER AND ALL THE FLOOR TOOLS ARE AT HAND, NOT HIDDEN AWAY LIKE SOME OTHER PRODUCTS, WHERE YOU HAVE TO TURN IT OFF TO GET AT THEM. WHEN THE BAG IS FULL PULL IT OFF AND PUT IT STRAIGHT INTO THE BIN, NO BREATHING IN ALL YOUR DUST MITES AS YOU DO FROM BAGLESS HOOVERS.

+ Easy to use, has all the parts you need on the back rather than inside.

- Not so good for a hard floor ie: wood,laminate.

+ All Good. Lots of useful features, the best hand pipe suction I have encountered, and the ability to change floor cleaning levels is brilliant.

- The only bad thing, and this really applies to all vaccum cleaners, is the cable being obstructive when in use. The Sebo has an extra long cable, which is a very good idea, but I am useless at managing it. I have a wonderful black knee just now, badly bruised from tripping over it. I wish a mechanism for partial recoiling could be invented.

+ Strong suction, adjustable revolving brush head giving excellent results even with dog hair, flexi hose and fittings for all non floor jobs. Have used an Ensign Sensor 370 for around 15 years and delighted to replace it with an identical model from Sebo

- A bit heavy for carrying about especially up stairs other than that an excellent all round upright cleaner.

+ Excellent suction. All accessories to hand.

+ It picks up really well, is quick to use. It's the best vacuum ever.

+ it sucks.............thats a complement. Its a really good vacuum our hotel now has about a dozen sebos. Running costs are minimal, they run and run, they will block but are fairly easy to unblock and never wear out the belt.

+ Just about everything is very good. It is easy to assemble, feels strong and easy to use . I especially like going back to bags as it is a lot cleaner and less smelly (I have three dogs) and doesn't need emptying so often as it compresses the dirt.

- Doesn't clean up to the edge but then most uprights don't.
