- You didnt explained probably about the battery life.Dissapointed that some dvd players can not play.When zooming fully to see distance you are unable to use image stabiliser.

+ very light and fairly simple to use, image quality surprisingly good

- battery life very short, the more powerfull battery is about the same size as the camera itself. Buttons are quite small and therefor suit a ladies fingers better

+ Fantastic pictures, excellent value for money and easy to use.

- The cost of the disc, it didn't come with any and they can be quite costly with most only enabling half an hour recording at a time.

The catchily titled VP-DC161WB is part of Samsung's first range of DVD camcorders and it's another addition to the swelling ranks of DVD cams on the market. It's a fairly standard unit, though it does boast a particularly well-specified lens, with 33x optical zoom (and 1,200x digital zoom).
