- Sound quality from the internal Tv speakers is poor - but this is a common problem with many LCD Tvs and can be easily rectified with some external speakers. Despite this issue, the Tv is perfect for the purpose I bought it for.

- there is no solution to manage wires in the back,recoil like in the vacuum cleaners or hooks all round to attach so many wires.This is not specific but a general problem.

+ nice looking also seen some good write-ups before purchasing, the analogue signal is not as good as the sony crt tv i removed,but the sky set-up comes through very nice. the tv was purchased for the bedroom.

- the sound is not very good and there is a very annoying blue light on the front which cannot be turned off ,only dimmed, which is ok when you are watching the tv, but when you put it in standby it tends to flash the light quite brightly almost spotlighty and even woke me up! spoke to samsung about it and they told me they had no information on this model, other models you can turn the light off but not this blighter!!

- As with all HD TV's when you try and watch SD pictures they always look block. This is essentially a monitor with a tv tuner so why can't it drop the res to the same as a normal telly when your watching an SD signal.

+ Fantastic value for money, a great picture with the included tuner and very easy to setup. Also very good as a monitor - I have it set up with my Mac mini, and the screen is very clear, and easily configurable to use all of the HD resolution available.

+ overall it does what i want it to do, hdmi socket for ps3 and it displays blu-ray films very well, scart socket for ps2 and others. and most importantly dvi and vga for my computer, works well as a second monitor.
all in all it is a very good monitor and i would recommend getting one.

- it could have done with video (yellow) socket input in the back along with the audio ones, though its not a major issue since there is a scart socket and with an adaptor you can use it for the inputs in question, just saying it would have been easier if there was a socket.

+ With a strong, vibrant image with a good range of colour depth the Samsung 2333HD is perfect for editing my RAW photo files. The viewing angle is reasonable, if not great and the sharpness and picture quality nigh on perfect. Gaming suffers from no ghosting thanks to a response time of 5ms and the blacks and shadows on screen in games and films are well represented. The monitor was easy to set up, delivery was on time and the design is attractive. I haven't used the TV function yet due to lack of tuner, so I can't comment on that aspect. Overall an excellent buy for the price.

- The speakers are mediocre, but you should be using external speakers anyway. The monitor isn't very flexible in its tilt angle, it can't tilt forwards so if you put it on a high shelf you won't be getting the best from it. The stand is a little low too and unadjustable. These are quibbles at this great price, however.

+ Picture is great for the size {32inch} also affordable and dosent break the bank, the tv atracted me because i wanted a LCD TV with 1080p, it also came with freeview so you get extra channels as i dont have sky, the tv was easy to assemble from the box, also setting up the tv was easy to do and understand with the options on screen.

- Having problems setting up my Dvd player, the instructiona are really poor, they dont explain things quite as well as i would of hoped.
