+ I think this TV/Monitor is great value for money! You won't find a much better price for a 23" screen, or if you do it won't be a good brand like samsung. Easy to set up (follow the on screen instructions), great image quality especially for my PS3 and a really good built in tv guide! TV looks stylish and smart. I use this as a TV for my bedroom and it does the job perfectly. Recommended buy!

- The sound on this model is not Hi-Fi quality, but this is not expected with a small cabinet and speakers. The menu selected filters can compensate for lack of base frequencies to some extent. I have found the sound to be quite satisfactory for an average sized living room.
The blue 'on' light occasionally illuminates and turns off on its own accord, often at night when the receiver is off. The receiver does not turn itself on, however and normal operation with the remote is not affected.

- Sound quality from internal speakers very tinny and there is no Line Out for connection to external amp/speakers. However the headphone socket does the same job and now the sound is superb. Sound quality from internal speakers may be the result of size limitations in a small unit so cannot necessarily blame Samsung without doing further research. Maybe all small LCD TVs suffer the same way?

+ Easy to assemble, set up and use. Picture quality and looks are great. To get a Full HD TV for this price from Samsung with a 3 yr warranty I think is brilliant and I would definately recommend to friends

- As mentioned in previous reviews when I bought this, the sound is a little weak and tinny so it is worth running through external speakers to get the best out of it.

+ Looks very smart. It's wall mountable (watch-out some Samsung models aren't) and the foot does come out the bottom (just gently ease it out - I've read some reviews where they have left the stand stem in while on the wall as there are no instructions to remove it). No red pencil line at the bottom (which you seem to find on a lot of models and some of the LG ones too!)

- If you hang it high you the screen disappears if you watch it from below

- Sound quality is adequate for a bedroom but quite hollow and not particularly loud on maximum. The factory setting sound can be improved by changing setting to 'Custom' and adjusting equaliser or using additional active speakers via the headphone socket.

+ The quality and performance I have to expect from the Samsung brand. Easy to set up and use. Good range of connections possible.I use it both as a monitor for my PC and as a TV.

- The Freeview tuner seems to be rather poor and not very good at picking up channels- compared to the tuner of my LG DVB-T DVD Recorder (DRT389H) which I've been using instead.

+ Excellent TV with built in freeview with 1080p digital HD ready quality. Hung it on the wall and now is used as a pc monitor, wii monitor as well as a freeview TV. Excellent with 10,000:1 contrast picture quality the images are sharp with now blurring.

+ easy to set up... worried about one scart but anyway two HDMI slots available.. i need to ugrade my cables..picture quality good so far no dead pixels.. unfortunatelu my 20 month old daughter made some scrathes on the screen within two hours of opening.. so cant comment much... enough to a decent size room with excellent colors...

+ built in freeview is the best ive ever used, menu is clear and easy to use. product looks great, great HD picture. quick easy set-up.

- power cable has bit of 'play' in it, if it gets knocked the cable can come out of place and power is lost. no ability to tilt or swing monitor unless u move the whole unit. side viewing angle is as great as thought, but seeing as i only view from head-on it doesnt matter to me.

- Poor sound but after all it is predominately a PC monitor. Upside is good sound output via a hi-fi or PC.

+ simply could not have been happier with this product. i baught it primarily to watch movies/streaming stuff from my laptop via VGA connection. the screen automatically adjusts resolution and ratio to from the laptop to suit the monitor and the image is usaually very clear (dvd quality depending on the file you have downloaded). the tv function is great too and channels off the air look great (you need to plug in an antenna, the tv comes with freeview inside it)

- the monitors maximum volume is very low, but i knew that before i baught it, and a cheap pair of speakers can fix the problem.

+ Product was incredibly easy to set up - plug in, press the button and wait for the TV to finish tuning itself in. Quality of picture very good and good value for money (<£210 & free delivery which only took 3 days). Would recommend TV to others for ggod value, quality and easy tuning in.

Typical of LCD TVs, if you are not looking straight on, the picture quality deteriorates the wider the angle.
