Good points:: Outstanding in every way, just make sure you uninstall any intel wifi/Bluetooth programs, they completely wreck the start up time when installed.
Bad points:: Vertical screen view is bad, 1mm down and its all black, 1mm up and its all white. Must be perfectly central, also the desktop gamma is terrible due to optimus graphics

Bad points:: At the beginning every now and then things grind to a halt, this could be due to Windows 8 rather than the machine.
Once things settle down all works fine, and at a reasonable speed

Good points:: Attractive device, handles HD streaming well, boots up quickly, very nice and easy to use keyboard, good speakers for a laptop, reasonably light and easy to handle - does pretty much all of the essentials that you'd want from a laptop.
Bad points:: Button on the disk drive is in a daft place, constantly accidentally pressing it and opening it. The touchpad is prone to freezing - it has been alright lately but especially in the early days I had to put the laptop to sleep to refresh it.

Good points:: easy to use, nice design, performance fine, battery ok so far (2 months on)
Bad points:: Windows 8 (gggrrrrr), performance not quite as quick as would have liked given it's quite a powerful machine. Overall pleased but should have saved up for a mac!

Good points:: Fast start up - first program can be running within 30 secs.
Excellent matte screen - no reflections.
Good sound for a laptop thanks to JBL speakers.
Good keyboard with numeric keypad,
Responsive and customisable trackpad.
Bad points:: No caps on light (allthough warning beep can be activated from Settings)
