- took alittle while to get used to the features

+ Clear,bright AMOLED touch screen.Good clear audio .the 'widget' features and the 3G internet upto 7.2 mbps

- dire battery life-expect to charge it daily!(if you tinker with it as much as me) if using the keypad to enter text fields online-the keypad doesnt appear to have a delete key (as when typing text messages)

+ Very slim and good looking. Was not sure about switching to a touch phone - this has the advantage of a keyboard as well.

- Manual hopeless, touch not always very responsive. Cannot switch alarm to silent on calendar items

- Sometimes the touch screen is not sensitive enough, and a bit fiddly with text messaging, flicking between touchscreen and keypad.

+ It combines both the touch screen and a user friendly keypad on the slider. It's thin design and classy feel. It's a solid phone, not plastic like some of its competitors.

- Battery life is a little too short, but still acceptable. I expect it would be much longer if I didn't use the camera so much. Rarely doesn't respond to commands. But very rare.

+ like the choice of touch screen and key pad. it is light weight and the screen colour is excellent. large memory for storing music videos and text messages.

- it would be nice to have the option of a pen instead of using your finger on the screen. The battery life is not very good and does disappear quickly. The sound is not very loud and does not seem to have a surround sound option.

+ Very easy to use! and loving the touch screen and having a keypad, much better than the original tocco! camera is reaaally good, friends are very jelous ha. looks very smart aswell. overall, very good phone.

- so far my only problem is how easily it scratches ( not the screen! ), after putting it into my bag and taking it back out, i had found it is already covered in small scratches, not very noticable but still very annoying if you know they are there! also if you make a mistake when texting there is no arrow to go back, annoying if you have big fingers!

+ Slim phone offering nice features. The 8mp camera is definatly the best i have seen. The phone itself has a nice slender exterior. overall the design of the phone has been well thought out. If you stuggle with the touch screen when using it for texting there is a keypad available to save frustration. I thought this was a brilliant idea obviously this phone has been well thought out.

- Battery life could be longer and somtimes the touch screen can be a little frustrating. Also i was very dissapointed when the phone didnt come provided with a carry case to prevent damage to the exterior. I would really want a case/sleve.

- Find the touch screen very sensitive I have called wrong people at times and sent blank texts
Also sometimes takes a few touches on the screen to send texts as touch is not always recognized

+ Love the phone especially the touch screen, and it looks fantastic. The slide down keypad is a godsend also, as texting on the screen keypad can be a bit tricky if you are on the move.

- Only thing I dislike about this phone is the battery life, ts not even lasting 24 hrs and thephone is not used excessively.

+ Good looking phone. Has everything needed - good for keypad and touchscreen. Nice size screen good colour. Web browsing good and ability to personalise display excellent. Camera good and has a good calendar/organiser. Most features good.

- Volume could be slightly higher - don't always hear it when in handbag. Battery needs to be recharged more frequently than previous handset.

+ Excellent screen, fast and simple to use. The scrolling contacts is very good. Widgets are nice and simple customise. Sound quality excellent, and with the 8gb mini sd I added, it carries plenty of songs and video. Being able to customise your home screen with widgets is nice, and the scrolling window is ace. Photo quality great inb good conditions.

- Battery life isn't great. If I talk for more than 60 mins and do some web browsing and photos, it's down to one bar in a day. Not good if you're out all day without a charger. Touch screen can be fiddly, particularly clicking on some links on web pages. I don't seem able to lock widgets down to the home screen - it's easy to lose them as it's such a big scrolling area. Photo quality not so great in poorer conditions, and camera quite slow.

+ Internet is speedy and easy to use. Found it simple to get used to the phone as I am a Samsung person anyway. Picture/video quality is flawless and the phone does have some good features. Screen display is also brilliant.

- If you're using manual input rather than T9, the phone doesn't seem to understand and apostrophe, texting in general is quite difficult. Battery life is shocking, especially if you make use of the internet, at the moment I'm having to charge mine everynight.

+ It is generally a good phone. Everything about it is sufficient and easy to use. It looks very stylish. I would definately recommend this phone to anyone.

- The bad thing about this phone is that the battery life is not very good. When browsing the web, the battery decreases very quickly.

+ Its beautiful! Its good that you can use both the screen and the keyboard. The camera is amazinly good and takes very good pictures. Not done the internet and email thing as yet, and it seemed a little difficult to set up (but if you know your smtp and which server you use, it should be fine)

- There's a side bar thing (think they call it a widget) which can get highly annoying when it incessently thinks you want to pull across that menu when you actually want to open a text.

- Overall, disappointed with the phone. Quite large and heavy and does not look as good as it appears on the internet. The battery lasts about a day and the touch-screen is fairly difficult to use. The phone has also started to freeze already after only having it for a month. The keypad is fairly stiff and wish I would have chosen to have a different phone.

- The text is not as good as other previous samsung mobile phones. The predictive text does not let you spell words using apostrophes making it longer to use the dialog when sending messages, very disapionting.

+ Really like this phone. Once i got used to the touch screen texting and calling became easy. I love how it looks, sounds and the camera and video is brill...just what i was looking for in a phone.

- The battery life is not very good...Ill charge it on Sunday evening and by Monday evening ive only got 2 bars left. However ive put this down to the fact that the phone is touch screen, the battery life does not worry me or effect the performance of the phone in anyway...i just need to remeber to charge it a little often then usual.

+ Having a keypad as well as the touch screen is helpful if you arent used to a touch screen as it gives you time to get used to it! The camera is also really good quality and when youre browsing your photos you can tilt the phone which moves the picture on to the next one which is quite novel for a phone!

- when youre writing a message using the touchscreen instead of the keypad the space bar, backspace and 'wxyz' button are all quite close together but thats just being picky really!

- The contact list isn't easy to scroll quickly down it goes really fast and misses the letter you want

+ the phone is easy to use and under stand, the camera is great and it is good for texting as you do not have to use the buttons as you can just use the screen.

- the battery life could be better as if you browse the web on it it drains very quickly as well as if you leave it blue tooth on it drains as well.

+ It is a slim line phone with a very good 8.1 mega pixel camera which provides excellent quality photos. The sound quality is also fantastic.

- The downside is the touch screen as this can sometimes be too sensitive and when typing a text you cannot back space easily.

+ the samsung tocco ultra seems to be the best phone i have purchased so far.The media functions are great. I like the way you can use both touch screen and key function instead of one or the other.the phone is a great all rounder

- the phone has about a 1 and a half second delay when texting and other commands. The widgets side is not practical, for example it would be good if i could get a message logo on there as a shortcut. But i cant.
The exisiting games are terrible because the buttons are not easy to use, the touch screen does not allow enough room for your fingers to choose the options, which are so close together.
There is a delay to call, and a delay to hang up. Its pretty much a delay when using the touch screen.

+ the camera is really good on it, with good features and a flash. the video is okay but the sound recording is not so great, especially if the noise level of what you are recording is quite loud. texting is a breeze due to the slide down keypad....this is one of the main reasons I bought the phone....a half way point to getting a touch screen only phone.

- the battery life is really not very good. I send quite a few texts and maybe spend 20 minutes a day on the internet....and occasionaly take photos, and the battery lasts me no more than a day and a half. I make sure I take my charger with my everywhere!

+ Its got no applications, its supposed to be metalic red but is actually dark pink!!!

- Awful for texters. If using predictive text and the phone suggests a word that is incorrect, you can't just use the up and down arrows to change to another suggested word, you actually have to tap on the screen at the exact point in the word that you want to change - very difficult with fingers! It takes ages - you can't just use the keypad for quick texting - you have to use the touch screen as well which makes it a slow and frustrating process.
Also I kept tapping or sliding my finger on the wrong things on the touch screen and picking out the wrong icons - too difficult for me I'm afraid and I'm female with quite small fingers.
Great for someone who doesn't text very much and who uses their phone for entertainment and music.
