Samsung RSH1DTMH Reviews: Frost Free, American, Multi fridge freezer

+ Fridge compartment has lots of room. Handy having two drawers in the bottom. I use one for vegetables and one for salad. Great having the freezer section as I only have a small freezer in my utility room. I can now keep the frozen goods I use regularly in the kitchen in the freezer compartment. Very stylish looking I am really glad I bought it.

- There are only two minor points I would mention. Firstly it would have been better if there was another shelf on the inside of the fridge door. I am having to use the top shelf for eggs, the second has jars in it, and then I have bottles of fruit juice and milk. There is space for another shelf and it would have been handy for 1 more. The second point I would mention is the crushed ice seems a bit messy as it splutters out everywhere and its hard to contain it within a glass. I tend to use the cubed ice most of the time but these are rather large chunks. Its not a complaint though, purely a point to mention.

+ The ice water and ice facility are excellent. The internal areas of the fridge are easy to clean.

- You need big doors to get it into your house.

- Slightly noisier than i'd imagined but I don't sleep in the kitchen so not a problem!!

- it makes a load crashing noise now and again (it does say in the manule that this is normal) makes you think the shelves have fell in the first time you hear it

+ We bought this for £600 about 2 months ago and it has been brilliant so far. The ice and water dispenser is fab (the kids drink water non-stop now). Both the fridge and freezer have really bright lights which let you see exactly what's in there and stop them from having that 'cave like' feeling and the fridge especially is very roomy. Would definitely recommend this model.

- It's BIG, so the doors will probably have to be taken off to get it into the house and it is quite bit deeper than the traditional type of fridge/freezer so it could look a bit overpowering in a small kitchen. The freezer isn't massive which wasn't an issue for us as we have another freezer in the garage but if someone were buying it for a large family it very possibly wouldn't hold enough.
