Samsung RL44ECPS - Silver Reviews: fridge freezer

+ Large storage capacity in standard 60cm width. Looks good. I like the 2 separate chiller areas in the fridge and separate rack for ice-cubes etc in freezer.

- Bottle rack could be a little deeper.

+ Very quiet , temperature controls on front of fridge are very easy to use . Style and design of fridge very modern and looks great in kitchen . Chiller compartment is great for keeping my beer .

- Wife keeps on pinching bottles of beer because they are nice and chilled in the warm weather .

+ Excellent build quality and a good balance between fridge/freezer capacities. Very easy controls with a nice blue LED display and a great looking piece of kit. A particularly good point is the flush finish on the rear that hides all that messy pipework and looks a lot better if you have one side exposed.

- None that I have discovered, except its very heavy and I will be investing in one of those under fridge/freezer wheeled caddy systems for moving it in and out for spring cleaning.

+ There is lots of flexible storage, which means you can do a good size family shop of fresh and frozen food. I searched and searched for a fridge-freezer of the right size with a separate gourmet drawer, which is an excellent spacious feature for separating fresh meat and fish. The temperature in both parts is also good.

- There isn't enough space between the bottle rack and the shelf above for the width of many bottles of wine or even water or soft drinks.

+ Great internal design, especially the 'cold room'. The fridge alarm is a very good idea, it lets you know when the door has been left open. Good build quality and it feels robust. Freezer drawers feel very sturdy compared to other makes.

- Would have liked the freezer slightly larger - and the fridge slightly smaller - more of a 50/50 split.
However, this is my personal choice and not exactly a Samsung 'bad point'. I could of bought a Hotpoint which was a 50/50 - but I liked the Samsung way more.

+ THE FRIDGE HAS LOTS OF ROOM IT IT, LOVED THE WINE RACKS AND CHILLER DEPARTMENT.

+ Looks great, Feels great and is nuch better than our old one!, The fridge is massive with loads of room in the door as well. The Freezer is great to - we like the little drawer for ice trays etc at the top.. The extra compartment in the fridge for extra cold stuff is good too.. It is a little noisier than old old one through.. I used a voucher code so got it cheeper so value for money is 10/10, energy consumption i don;t know really!

- only 7/10 for design.. I think its a great fridge freezer with the only bad points being its a lilttle noisy.

+ Fridge is a very good size with an adequate freezer compartent.

- Some taller bottles that you would normally store in the fridge don't stand up. The fridge is a little noisier than expected but nothing you don't get used to.

- The top would fill with dust and not easy to clean - fridger bottom drawers are loose and slide on the base floor, will get scratched in time. Fridger depth is too less. Door handles are projected out of the body and may hurt some passer by.

+ I like the design; both interior and exterior. The transparent freezer drawers are really useful

- It would be nice for the capacity to be a bit more. The wine bottle holders take up much space.

+ Not had it long but the lay out is great and it does what it says on the tin ie keeps food cold and fresh.
