+ Good value, fast, looks great

- poor sound - need to use external speakers to watch films. battery life isn't great, but i use it mostly at home so keep it plugged in.

+ fast, holds alot of data, you can run most games and programs.

- If your doing word proccessing the batery life is good but for films and music keept it plugged in to a power source

+ Almost silent, ergonomic keyboard, big hard disc, good screen and excellent Samsung backup and recovery application built in.

- Wide screen better for video than for reading documents.

+ When the laptop has shut down due to a flat battery, once plugged in and started up again all applications and documents remain open and in exactly the same position.

- Battery life seems short lived. (Using Vista) When using alt+F4 to pull up the shut down box the default option is sleep/hibernate and you have to scroll through all the options to shut down each time.
