+ Good size screen and keyboard. Digital web cam is a great feature for using with Skype etc.
Overal Nice design of whole netbook very functional and practicle. Great for uni notes and last minuite research - portable

- The touch pad and mouse buttons are a bit sensitve and small, but a usb mouse can be used so it is not a major issue.
It does not come loaded with XP programs such as Word, Excel etc. So you have to buy your own, but it depends what you want to use it for.

Bright Screen
You can switch the mousepad on/off if you have an external mouse

+ The best point is that it is so small and good looking and you really can sit and surf with it on your lap in the lounge which is why I wanted it. I haven't had it that long myself and dont really use computers as a work tool at home so I can't comment on its capability but I am looking forward to using it when I am travelling to stay in touch. For my personal use it has everything the lap top has.

- To start with connectivity was a major problem I believe it has to do with LAN, also there is a network provider seems to be trying to take over from my own provider. I have read that others suffer this problem too and it may be an NC10 quirk, I am persevering and remain calm if I lose my internet.
The keyboard is a mystery too, why do I have my @ key under shift 2 when it shows it to be on the middle row? I have read that I can copy my word and excel packages over to it using a memory key have not managed to do that yet although my photos copied over fine.

+ Easy to use with good battery life making it excellent when out and about. The touchpad mouse can get in the way when typing, but it has a function to switch off the mouse which i beneficial. Good indication of battery power and warns when low battery so you can plug into mains without losing work. Although, beware, when the low battery life warning appears you don't have too long before the battery goes, so make sure you save work if you dont have the mains charger to hand so you don't lose it.

Expert reviews for Samsung NC10 - with 6 cell battery (Netbook)

PC Advisor expert review - by Andrew Harrison
