Samsung Lucido mobile phone handset reviews and tariffs

+ Sleek, slim design. Lightweight. Smooth buttons for ease of texting quickly. Large and bright display screen. Battery fairly long-lasting. Good camera but after having this phone for almost 4wks, cant find a zzoom option for focusing in.

- Did not come with very-much-expected memory card, bearing in mind there was alot of emphasis on the fact that it has mp3 player and 5meg camera. I then have to buy a card serperately. Although it has a GPS, using this for long periods of times, can cause serious battery depletion - be warned!

+ the fact that it looks good

- doesnt allow loud ring tone all the time starts quiet when you dont want to. Alarms dont repeat.
texting is a pain. buttons are too low. Phone in general looks good but performance is abismal

+ Very stylish phone with big clear display. Good features, fast internet

- It's very annoying to press and hold unlock button all the time- wasting of time.

+ Decent camera, useful having GPS too.

- Poor documentation. e.g. synchronisation, GPS functions, custom menu. It's a great little phone, so why can't they bother to write decent manual for it?

+ Nice and simple phone, easy to use, not very big but still has some good features.

+ I wasnt impressed with the new touch screen types of mobiles, i just wanted a basic handset to call and text from. when i seen the lucido i was impressed at the look and how small and compact it was.

- When texting i can only send a message to 10 people at a time. I had a samsung G600 previously and could send texts to more recipients.

+ the phone is nice and easy to use, with a lack of breakable features such as touch and slide mechanisms which seem to break, its no nonsense with a good camera and is compact and sleek.

- the casing isnt metal

+ Physical keyboard caters for those who find touch screen difficult or inefficient for texting. Slim dimension means this is not a bulky phone at all. Able to use micro SD cards and comes with headphone adapter so you can use regular 3.5mm headphones if you want. Screen is bright and colourful.

- Limited community for the phone online, doesn't appear to have downloadable themes to change the appearance on the phone, although there is quite a comprehensive theme creator where you can create everything yourself.

+ very easy to use, much better without touch screan!
I want to send and receive pictures though. Can not at this time.

+ simple robust phone. good camera. l like its looks. large keys. fairly accessable menu

- could have more control over phone setup options. eg number of rings b4 it goes to answer machine.

- Not packed with features (previously had N73) and the camera is only average.

+ neat small design, easy to use key pad and easy to find your way around the phone. Lovely bright colours and clear text. great camera fast capturing pictures unlike my last phone.

- can't find how to change my text message alert tone, and not wild about the one on there at the mo.

+ Pictures taken on the phone out-do our digi-camera shots; superb

- the feature that scrolls pics by moving the phone is spcoradic; at times easy; at others totally static
