+ Simple to use. Very clean looks and a very good screen for the price. Much better than anything else I saw within the price range.

- Backlight causes washed-out colours when above half-way. Took a lot of adjustment of contrast/backlight/brightness to get a good medium between them all.

- Sockets for connecting to sources not in a great place - I have mounted TV on a bracket; there is not much room between the bracket and TV to get cable connectors in.

+ Simple to set up and easy to follow menu options. Great picture quality, but slightly let down by the sound. Use it through a surround sound system and it's perfect! USB port useful - viewed 'photos stored on a USB key and they are just brilliant. Looks good, although a bit of a dust magnet! Would recommend it to anyone.

- As said previously, the sound is a bit thin, but no other bad points.

+ Excellent picture (especially in HD!), looks very stylish, decent sound (although I have now installed a surround sound system). A lot of options, mant of which I haven't used but the basics are easy to get to grips with. Excellent value for money.

- Not sure about the surround sound option, especially now having a proper system installed. Probably too many options! Minor points though in what is otherwise a superb set.

- The sound isnt great but in a small living room you wouldnt notice it that much. Ideally you would get a surround sound system. Also the default options for picture quality arent great so make sure you fiddle around with them to suit your stye and it makes a big difference

+ Bought this for my elderly Mum and Dad and they find it easy to use. The SD picture quality is very good from their (upgraded) aerial, but it's not as good as the SD picture I get through my cable V-box at home ( I have a similar, but older Samsung ). I setup a Sony DVD HDD recorder with built-in Freeview at the same time for them and the tuner in that is inferior to the Samsung. The sound quality is very good, but to get the most from a TV like this you need exta speakers.

+ Up and running in no time straight out of the box. Switch it on and the auto install programme takes over and finds all the channels for you. Fantastic picure off an just ordinary aerial. Nice looking and well designed TV.

+ The Samsung LE37B551A was very easy to set up, has an excellent picture and overall was very good value for money. There are several excellent features on the set and the sound quality is very good. I love the fact that there is no glare on the screen thanks to the design of the set.

- I can't find any bad points, only that it is black and it attracts dust. I wish there were more programmes being broadcast in HD

+ Excellent picture quality was the first thing I noticed, as well as the really sleek design. I needed some help to set it up, but that's due to my own inability. The TV is easy to control and the sound quality ideal for my elderly mother.

- There seems to be no provision for turning either the TV or the Sky box right off. They go on standby only. In these days where everyone is more concerned with the environment it would be better if we could switch everything off at night.

+ What can i say? I have had the screen for exactly one month today and nothing has gone wrong whats so ever. The Picture quality in SD and HD is amazing with such crisp detail and bright colours, the sound quality is amazing as its got SRS TRUE SOUND HD. The looks of the LCD TV is breath taking . + Used mainly for watching HD content via PC and playing games via PC - also watching NFL (American Football). The TV handles gaming superbly with no lag. Motion blur is hardly noticeable when playing first person shooters - something that was alot better than on other LCD tvs that I have seen. The colour settings are fully tweakable so the most can be gotten from the TV while watching in different lighting settings etc.
Handles screen resizing perfectly with manual options for non-native resolutions. The blacks are really black and look amazing - especially when watching HD films.

- Sometimes struggles with fast paced motion. Not so much in movies but the ball, when watching NFL, sometimes blurs or dissapears - especially when thrown fast. This is acceptable for me though and once again - is better than on other LCDs I have seen. When playing some games, the darker scenes i.e. caves when playing Oblivion, are too dark and lack detail, and when brightened, the bright bits are a bit too bright. This may of course be my settings and so can probably be correctly tweaked with a little time. Sound is a bit thin but tweakable and more than adequate.

+ This product is the perfect size, not too big yet not too small. I love the design with the red tinge to the surround. The picuture is very clear & is extremely good with animated images. I have reccommended a Samsung to my son & he has since bought the 32".

- The annoying little melody when it switches on & off as it is quite loud so you could not watch it in the bedroom if one of you was asleep. Also I expected the sound to be a little better but that's not to say that its bad!

- Standard def SKY broadcasts can be a little jumpy/blurry, (sometimes), when viewed through a scart connection. Will be upgrading my SKY box and hopefully an HDMI output will resolve any image issues!
