Only minor issue and i'm being really harsh here are the speakers can sound a little tinny, but when connected to your home cinema you dont need them.

Get a home cinema system with it as the sound isn't great, though no worse than any other TV I have at home. I got Samsung HTZ310R along side it and that is pure brilliance and they work well together with the Samsung Anynet+ connectivity.

I'm obviously not obtaining the best output from my tv yet as I don't have HD capability, so can't wait for that.
The only problem I can spot as yet is that images appear to move on their own in dark areas, but I put this down to a poor or weak signal. I think I need a new aerial. Digital is obviously the way to go but requires a bit more money throwing at it to get the best performance as it's rather more sensitive to signal strength than analogue was.

The only one bad point is it doesn't have an actual off button,it only goes into standby. So if you want to turn your t.v. off you have to turn it off at the mains.

The functionality is just great. Does everything one could wish for and with 4 HDMI sockets you can connect EVERYTHING..... I just HATE all black TV's. Everyone who has seen this has remarked on how much nicer it is with the low key ruby coloured bezel so I think most other people hate all-black things too....
-
The touch buttons on the RH lower corner are almost impossible to locate. Especially if you are elderely and need glasses to see things. Fortunately of course the remote control normally does it all....

Decent standard definition picture quality from a digital source, excellent high definition picture quality, healthy number of inputs/outputs, good menu options and good number of picture settings to fine tune picture quality unlike other hdtvs, although straight out of the box default picture is very good and easy to set up. Aethethically pleasing to look at - prettier than most other hdtvs.
-
The TV speakers, although adequate for casual viewing, are worse than most other in-built tv speakers. An external speaker system/theater system is reccomended. If you are thinking about getting this tv for gaming another tv may be better suited as picture lag is noticeable in my eyes even on Game/Entertainment mode. The lag is by no means horrendous but it will be more obvious when playing certain types of games that require extremely quick reactions like fighting games.

Expert reviews for Samsung LE32A656A
TechRadar expert review
Samsung has come up with a real stunner. And that's despite this 32in LCD TV not being of the highest build quality ‚Äì not unusual in these days of cut-price TVs. But what's been saved in quality materials is more than made up for by picture quality and unusual versatility. The surrounding frame might seem flimsy, but it's also highly unusual. Moulded in black, the plastic has been injected with a unique red glint. The effect is quite something, but unless you buy TVs on their look alone, the real attraction of the LE32A656 lies elsewhere. Five aliveSome corners may have been cut, but…

Screen Size in Inches

32
Screen size is measured diagonally from corner to corner.
Type of Screen

LCD
Most small flatscreen TVs have LCD screens. Some larger TVs have plasma screens. Some very new TVs have LED screens. Traditional TVs are called Standard or CRT.
HD TV

Full HD 1080p
‘HD Ready’ is a Europe-wide standard designed to made HD technology less confusing. HD Ready TVs must have
• Minimum vertical resolution of 750 pixels (in widescreen format)
• Ability to display 720p and 1080i formats
• An HDMI or Digital Video Interface (DVI interface)
Full HD is a higher standard. Full HD TVs have screen resolutions of 1080p and can output at least 24 frames per second.
Full HD is becoming common, but you won’t see Full HD on normal TV channels for a long time, so it remains optional for many people.
Freeview or Freesat Tuner

Freeview
Freeview is free digital terrestrial TV. FreeSat is a free digital satellite TV service, which gives you HD programming from people like the BBC without having to pay for a subscription to a service like Sky. You need a dish to receive Freesat but not Freeview.
For more information see the Freeview site or the Freesat site.
Built-in Disc Player

No
Some products come with built-in DVD players or Blu Ray players.
HDMI Interface

4
Like a scart interface but capable of carrying HD signals from or to other devices. You’ll need these to link your Playstation 3 or your Blu-ray player to your HD-ready TV.
Number of Scart Interfaces

2
Scart sockets are places where you can connect other devices to your TV. If you already have a DVD player, a VCR and a Playstation you might want to make sure your new TV has enough Scart interfaces so you don’t have to keep crawling round the back of the TV.
Frequency (Hz)

50
A TV’s frequency is how often the picture is updated per second, and is measured in Hertz (Hz). A higher frequency, such as 100 Hz, means that a TV is more likely to show fast-moving images with high detail.
Contrast Ratio (X:1)

15000
This figure is designed to tell you how much difference there is between dark and light colours on the TV. It is quoted as a ratio, between the brightest white and the darkest black. 500:1 means the brightest white is 500 times more bright than the darkest black. Plasma screens have historically boasted better contrast ratios than LCD screens.
Screen Resolution (pixels)

1080p
The number of pixels the screen has. The more you have, the more detail the screen can display, given a high quality source.
A breakdown of resolutions can be found on Wikipedia here

If you’d like to use your TV as a PC monitor you’ll need to make sure it has a port to allow you to connect it. This is usually a VGA port, but some TVs include a newer DVI port. Adaptors are availible to allow VGA to DVI and vice versa.
