+ for the price this tv is excellent value for money, picture quality is really good and it has a simple and sleek style. the remote control is good and the teletext has some nice features like half screen and moving between screens on the same page number.

- when watching football and the camera is panning none of the picture is in focus, as would be the case with my old tube TV

Has enough connections (Scart etc) to cope with set top box, dvd player, sky box and i had no problem getting them all to work (i'm a complete novice when it comes to technology). The whole family can work the remote without any trouble and the picture and sound are fine, especially using hd. Highly recommended

+ The T V isn't heavy, it's very easy to set up ( my Dad did it, he's 81) and looks great. It does exactly what it says on the tin...

+ The styling of the TV is very good. Very easy to setup from the box. Once I linked to an external aerial it found all available digital channels no problem. Picture quality is average for normal definition, but is excellent when linked to a high definition source. Excellent connectivity options.

- Sound lacks a bit of punch, obviously not a problem for those inteding to link it to home cinema sytem. No pwer off button, only a standby button which doesn't make any sense.

+ Good clear picture, easy to set up. Screen will swivel on base plate making for good multi viewing angle.

- Slow in channel changing. Would help to have colour, brightness etc amendment to hand on remote control rather than go into menu each time. Would have preferred finish to be matt black rather than ubiquitous piano black. These are minor points which don't really detract from the overall quality and value of this model.

+ The Samsung LE32A457C1DXXU is a brilliant TV to purchase, it's got a sleek & classy look and enhances any room it's used for, it's the 4th model that I have purchased, 2 for myself and 2 for friends, the clarity of the picture is amazing, we love it!
