+ A good clean looking television.Nicely styled, with superb picture quality.very easy to set up the peripherals [freeview,dvd,& sky plus].

- impossible to get the sound right. when you have the volume higher than 24/100ths there is a tinny echo like a vibration. very distracting.

+ I'm very pleased with the overall size, picture quality, reception and look of the television, as well as the fact that it can be wall mounted and has swivel action for easy viewing from all angles.

- I can think of no bad points

+ The product has ports for the gadet man in mind: pc, camcorder, games console.
It has easy to use functions menu on board.

- The built in sound quality could be better, maybe more built in speakers to cover full frequency range thus making the equalizer more effective. However external surround sound is and option but it needs more audio out ports to avoid using up all the ports on a scart junction box.
There is no OFF button. The product goes to stand-by only.

- not a bad point just slightly annoying - starting up seems to take a while from switching on. this TV is HD ready but this is not explained. how does one get HD or have I missed something.

- There is no off switch!!, only a switch to put it into standby mode. You have to turn it off by the plug which is a bit annoying.

+ TV worked out of the box and set up was really easy. I purchase this for my mother in law who found the remote controls and operation much easier than her previous CRT TV even with the extra features needed for digital TV. Well done Samsung would easilly recommend this LCD for very good picture quality and ease of use.

- sound is like cheap automotive speakers placed in a cereal box for an extra "cardy" sound. this seems to be the ONLY cost compromise on this machine, so i cant really complain at that i think the manufacturer expects the user to enhance own sound with a home cinema unit.

+ The appearance of this model of LCD Tv is very modern and dynamic and the piano black outer really looks the part.

- The piano black looks the part but really attracts the dust and this LCD TV requires a polish nearly every other day...

- On/off button just puts tv on stand by, it has to be switched off at mains. Sound doesnt stay at same level when switching channels.

- The only downfall would be that by switching off the telly it turns it off to standby mode,so to turn off properly you have to switch off at the wall!!!

- Can only be switched to standby both by remote and the switch on the T.V, you have to switch it off at the socket to turn it off completly ,so I use a remote surge protected plug extention to make this easy. Sound quality is O.K but not a match for picture quality

+ Bought for use in bedroom and very happy, the picture quality is great and sound is very good on the inbuilt speakers. I like the functionality of the EPG with the current channel still displayed whilst checking the guide and its quick when changing channels.

- None really but have noticed a slight creaking noise as the TV warms up and cools down, probably from the case expanding as it gets warm but that's being picky.

+ This tv is exactly what I had expected and hoped. The picture is brilliant and I can't imagine getting anything better for the price.

- Having to scroll through the source (tv, av1, av2, component) can be a bit tedious seeing as I play my Xbox through component a lot. Still this is only about a 5 second job.

+ Superb for ease of use and stylish good looks, I have enjoyed finding about the facilities offered by the set since installation. It even attracts less dust than a conventional set.

+ This is a great product, I love watching the natural world wilod animals, birds, mountains, sea in fact everything as this tele makes you feel you are there. Fantastically easy to set up with the plug recognition nand for me 32" is just the right size for my house or any house I'm likely to be in. My daughter, best friend and I all bought one on the same day and we all think it was our best purchase in a TV yet.

- Need to have a remote that can be programmed with the virgin remote so we only need one for sound etc. Have to learn how ro switch from Exdt to Ext but that's really no hardship

light enough for one person to handle. reasonably easy set up - very few problems- mostly due to with incomprehensible instructions leaflet .

- very confusing instructions - using terms that any non- technophile over 35 would find baffling.( I would advise you ask a younger friend/ family member to translate it unless you have some recent experience .)

+ I'am not a technicfile person but found the menu easy to use. I like the stand which allows me to swivel the tv to veiw and then park it flush with the wall when not veiwing. A lot more connections for add ons than I thought there would be considering the price.

+ Because I don't know that much about the technical side of this product, my initial gut reaction for buying it was purely on how it looked. Wow! It looks amazing and was so easy to set up.

- Can't really appreciate the HD side of things yet as need to purchase a separate cable. Plus, and this will probably seem really silly, but with the Freeview channels you don't automatically get the info for what's on when you change the channel.

+ Great picture, decent freeview tuner, decent sound good connectivity.

- Slow to switch on, slow to activate HDMI. Built in TV guide sometimes slow to react.

+ Very sleek design and very easy to set up. It took some fiddling with the remote to get the digital channels loaded but with a good aerial the picture quality is amazing. I would absolutely recommend this range of HD TV. I did a lot of shopping round before buying this unit and I think it has been money well spent.

- Remote is a bit slow to respond but it its probably a couple of seconds delay which for me is not an issue. Dust seems particularly attracted to the unit which means it needs a wipe ever so often to maintain its impressive piano black finish.

+ Very stylish and easy to set up also being 70 yrs of age thought i would have a few problems on how to work it but very user friendly. Now got rid of my sky digital and very happy with the digtal freeview.

- the tv's built in speakers seem totally unable to product any kind of bass, despite my editing the sound equilizer in every way possible. sound is very tinny and the tv vibrates slightly at higher volumes. A real let down as everything else is spot on.

- Sound is a bit "tinny". In these eco friendly times TV should have an in line power off swith. When the TV is turned "off" it goes onto standby not very green!

HDMI port gives excellent flexibility for occasional games console use.
