+ Easy to set up and operate. Good value for money. Excellent design, if you like black...

- Lacks internal Freeview tuner. Picture aspect ratio adjustment doesn't seem capture all the information in the picture (but may be true for all flat screen TV's)

+ Looks great, picture is plenty good enough but not perfect. Easy to set up and install. Sound run through amp is fab. Huge value for money.

- Glossy edge reflects light a bit too much and can be distracting.

+ Great picture quality thats equally adept for use as a PC monitor or TV. The picture in picture function allows you to watch two pictures from different sources e.g. You can watch the T.V while browsing the internet.
The energy saving mode is a handy feature for the environmentally conscious, which reduces the brightness of the screen (not the picture). I find this useful in the evenings as it is more relaxing for the eyes.

- The sound. As with all LCD T.V's I've come across it's not great. It's not bad either, to be fair, but if you want to get the full experience from you're movie dvds, then you'll want to invest in a separate sound system.

+ excellent picture very easy to use perfect for xbox 360 , dvd , love the tv very sleek everyone admires my tv wen they come in so must be a winner

- needs another hdmi port sound quality needs to be better but i would recommend getting the samsung home cinema surround sound system
also not to sure if compatible with freeview boxes

Most small flatscreen TVs have LCD screens. Some larger TVs have plasma screens. Some very new TVs have LED screens. Traditional TVs are called Standard or CRT.
HD TV	HD Ready
‘HD Ready’ is a Europe-wide standard designed to made HD technology less confusing. HD Ready TVs must have • Minimum vertical resolution of 750 pixels (in widescreen format) • Ability to display 720p and 1080i formats • An HDMI or Digital Video Interface (DVI interface) Full HD is a higher standard. Full HD TVs have screen resolutions of 1080p and can output at least 24 frames per second. Full HD is becoming common, but you won’t see Full HD on normal TV channels for a long time, so it remains optional for many people.
