+ Usual Samsung quality !

- Sound a little disappointing

+ Good image quality. Surprisingly good sound. Looks nice. Lots of inputs.

- A little slow to change channel. Not the best EPG I've used.

- No power button, standby only or switch off at mains.

+ Picture quality particiarly good. TV guide facility shows you whats on and gives details of the programme while a small screen of the programme you are watching is present

- I turned the TV image processing off as it introduces noticeable artifacts into the picture in some circumstances e.g. in wide shots of football players against the grass background the players have very visible "ghosts" around them. I suspect this would be true of most manufacturers attempts at image enhancement. The picture is perfectly good without it.

+ if you are looking for a stunning looking tv, then the samsung le19 r88bd lcd is the one to have.

- as previously read in past reviews the sound quality could be better, but lets face it, the tv being so compact in size , you're going to have to sacrifice something.
response times when selecting different channels is a bit on the slow side too

- Poor instructions to program freeveiw channels. Took some time to get there eventually.

+ Fantastic picture & sound great for such a small tv. Looks well either on the wall or on the stand(I bought 2 I loved them so much & have them in the bedrooms).

- Remote control a little slow to respond.I have also found it difficult to get some of the freeview channels-not sure whether this is down to my reception or the tv!

+ Very good features and user friendly as functions make it a customiseable TV. As expected it is a great design and has little added features that you just dont see in many other brands. Cant ask for much more!

- Sound quality would be my only issue, but to be honest all of the TV's I looked at in this size lacked or stood out as having exceptional sound quality

- Only the lack of good speakers, however the sound is fine in a bedroom / kitchen / small room, just not suitabloe for a larger room such as a lounge

+ I've only had my new Samsung TV for a week, and so far i cannot find fault with it. Love it. It's design is smooth and elegant, easy to use, having in-built digital makes life so much easier, and getting it up and running took no time at all. Would definately recommend.

- Disappointed with the reliability, after only a few days the remote control stopped working. This could either be a fault with the remote control or the TV

+ It was exactly what we were looking for in terms of quality, price and for the room - it is a great digital TV for a smaller room. We would certainly recommend this TV.

- If you wanted to remove the base stand to attach the TV to the wall, which we planned to do, it appeared that the base stand could not be easily removed. In the end, we discovered it was better to use the base stand to attach the TV to the wall, as it gives more flexibility for adjustment.

- Everything else - sound rubbish (one speaker was so crackly I had to adjust the balance to the other), picture ok if you were head on but the so called 160 degree viewing angle was in fact about 5 degrees

+ The TV was very easy to setup, just realy plug in and go. Picture quallty on this TV is very good and the overall apperance of the tv is exelent. When connecting to a game consol use a HMDI cabel, this really does bring out the true exelance of the tv, allthough the picture is good with the Manufactures cabel.

- We havent found any bad points with this tv, it does all the things we need it to do. We use it every day for normal vewing and playing games.
