I was impressed by the quality of sound of this product. When I unpacked the speakers they were much smaller than I had anticipated and when I saw the thin cables they are connected with I feared the worst. But was pleasantly surprised by the surround sound quality they produce, but hey I am not an absolute high end high fidelity freak and may just be easily pleased ;)
The features of the BlueRay player turn your TV into a smart TV and you can stream video from the internet and other devices to your TV and the system updates its fimware and software automatically, which is great.
I just love the vacuum tubes such a lovely retro feature and maybe they really are the reason for the good sound! - Bad points:

When I ordered this system I thought the rear speakers were connected wireless, but they are not! This is an option and has to be purchased separately.
I am using Virgin TV connected via HDMI cable. When I switch my system on it does not automatically return to its previous settings and I have to go through the 'Home' screen then 'Settings' then choose the relevant HDMI port to finally watch TV... Could be hard to learn for the less technical family members: switch the Virgin box on, then switch TV on then switch BlueRay player on then go to home screen not not the one of the TV you fool! the one of the BlueRay!
I have not done a great deal of testing but the BlueRay player seems very picky about what disks it will play for you. I have tried one self burned one and it didn't play.
Lastly if you intend to stream content from your PC to the system via DNLA, I wouldn't bother with Samsung's software I think it is just useless and hangs on my system, but a third party software (I use Mezzmo) works perfectly fine
