The system comprises of a 3D blu-ray player, two Tallboy speakers, subwoofer, a surround speakers and front and rear speakers. The 5.1 channel system combines to produce a powerful 1000W sound output. An iPod/iPhone dock will let you hear your tunes like never before. The HT-D5530 also features 2GB of built-in storage.

As well as playing 3D Blu-ray discs, the HT-D5530 will also transform your regular 2D Blu-ray discs in the third-dimension, showing you a side to your favourite films you’ll not have seen before best possible quality. When connected to a 1080p TV, you’ll enjoy full high definition with solid colours, crisp sharp detail and jaw-droppingly vibrant images. And with Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD supported; the audio reproduction is just as involving and high definition as the picture.

With access to Smart Hub you’ll be provided with a gateway to a multitude of entertainment. The diverse range of content offers access to services like LOVEFILM movie streaming, BBC iPlayer, YouTube and Facebook. Simply connect to your home network via an optional USB dongle and you’re away.

There are other benefits of getting the player connected to the web – the BD Live profile brings enhanced and fun functionality to the HT-D5530. Depending on the disc, when your player is connected to the internet you can download a variety of up-to-date content (e.g. refreshed previews and special exclusives).
