+ I am used to more complicated phones ie. Windows Mobile etc. I bought the Genio as a spare. I have to say I love it, it has become my everyday phone. It does everything I need well. There are even useful touches like a built in dictionary. It is nice and loud, I can hear it ring in my bag. The widgets like Twitter and Facebook work well plus there are loads of others to download. The Radio is good. Most of all the battery life is brilliant, I believe the quoted 730hrs standby, I have only partially charged my phone twice in over 3 weeks. I really love this phone.

- 3g would have been nice, to speed browsing up (but that would impact the brilliant battery life) Not much else, to be honest.

- Hard to download games onto it, but this is nothing major. It has so many plus's.

+ Good value for money, looks good, fairly easy to use,(takes a while getting used to touch screen if it's your first touch screen phone, as it was for me)

- Camera is very poor. Looks cheap compared to other touch screen phones, but you get what you pay for.

+ Looks great, good handy size, so easy to use and get used to. Went from an LG to this, no regrets this is one brill phone, shame about the camera, thats the only downside i can think of, otherwise this is a phone well worth having.
Mine came with three xtra diff colour covers too, what a result, well pleased with them, sounds good, music player good, headphones good. so easy to text, chat etc...All in all a good phone.

- Camera not so good, could of been better, but if ur not into taking pics then 'no worries'.

+ This is a well designed compact touch screen phone, and for the money you pay for this entry lvl touch screen phone its defiantly well worth a look, I brought this for my father he is not very good with technology but he has been able to use this phone with out any difficulty. The screen us very responsive

- The camera is "ok" in day light, but struggles in bad light conditions as there is no flash, the phone is also a little slow when it comes to zooming into picture. One of my main complaints is when making a call to top for example you have to key in options and codes using the keys the virtual keys auto locks to quick & you constantly have to unlock it.

+ Bought this phone for my 14yr old son, he loves it, it has everything he wants & some, looks great and came with 2 additional covers, so he swaps between the black and white, all his mates now want one! thought it might be a bit fidly with the touch screen but no problems... it is such a good phone I have ordered one for myself!

- Cant really think of any, he has had it a few weeks now, and can honestly say this is the only phone he has ever carried round with him (has had a nokia n95 and samsung soul on contract, but he never used it so cancelled contract & got him PAYG) The Genio is by far his favourite and he takes it everywhere, even to bed!!! And at such a great price I am one very happy parent!!

- the speaker is on the back of the phone so when the phone is placed down it can be hard to hear the phone ringing.

Expert reviews for Samsung Genio Touch S3650

Pocket Lint expert review

Samsung has hit the headlines in the mobile phone world over the last year with a number of handsets - the Jet, the Omnia and the Android-packing Galaxy i7500, most notably. The Genio Touch hasn't been among them because it's aimed at the lower end of the market - the end that uses Pay-As-You-Go and doesn't want to splash £400 or more on a handset over its lifespan...
