+ It is a first class phone that is compact and neat for a lady to carry, not just in her handbag, but in her pocket and even on a lanyard around her neck. The colour is nice and my wife loves it. so too do my nieces. Need to find more for my granddaughters when I find five minutes to spare.

+ It looks quite good.

- It keeps coming open in your pocket. It has a mind of it's own when it comes to keypad tones (they keep switching back on again). Poor battery life, if you can get three days you are very lucky. You have to press an enormous number of buttons to do anything, and their use is very counter-intuitive. The top volume is about as loud as a mouse's bed time story, so you miss most of your calls. All in all, very little thought has gone into its design.

- navigation wheel doesn't overlap and go back to the top of the menu automatically like the x830.
