- Fairly simple to use for the first timer and easy to master. Good picture quality, good size hard drive and a bargain HDD/DVD for what was paid for the item.

Can be a little slow to load up, but nothing too bad. I'm just slightly impatient!
It doesn't seem to give programme synopsis on freeview info button.

It 'does what it says on the tin', it records stuff. And it was cheap!
I bought this item purely on price, a HDD Recorder with a DVD Recorder included for the price you'd expect to pay for a HDD Recorder on it's own - so on that basis I'm perfectly happy - Bad points:

HOWEVER, this is the LEAST user-friendly piece of equipment I've ever had the misfortune to own.
The operation is FAR TOO COMPLICATED and the Remote Control has far to many buttons; here are far too many key presses for the simplest of functions and little effort has been made to make the main buttons 'stand out'.
Also, if you leave a DVD (or HDD Recording) on Pause to go and make a cup of tea it eventually switches off (fair enough), BUT it goes back to the start!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...

Score 8.0/10Not sure why it scored low for ease of use by other users, it's got it's own idiosyncracies but compared with my Sony it's a walk in the Park. I plugged a HDMI cable to it and the tv, let the auto scan pick up the channels and away she goes.
If that's hard then I suggest you go back to cave drawings.
