+ Small footprint. Ability to have faxes emailed as pdfs so that junk faxes just get deleted and any fax is only printed if it really has to be. Excellent scanning facility from any network pc to pdf, jpg etc for handling by any subsequent programme or emailing on to others. Colour print quality on standard paper is good. On HQ paper (not coated) is excellent. Can print on only small selection of approved laser coated stocks.

- Horrible high pitched whine when it starts up to print, fax or scan. After that it is virtually silent.

+ Very quiet, good quality, fast and very pleased in general!

- I wish I had noticed it does not have a single paper feed facility - not a major issue but I didn't realise how much I used it until I didn't have it!

+ Very fast if you're printing a lot of pages at once.

- Takes a lot of time to warm up so quite slow if you're printing only one or two pages. Image quality is much worse than on inkjet.

+ It's black so blends in with rest of computer equipment etc.
It's quiet. Although 1st copy is slow, unless you are conastantly printing large quantities, it is fast enough.
