+ The stand has a very sleek modern appreance and is very sturdy especially required for a 50" TV

- Once the TV is on the stand there are a few "creaks" to be heard even if you only need to move the stand and TV a few inches which is worrying but no disasters as yet!

- unable to discard the cables, as it was situated against a flat wall and not in a corner. ,A hole at the back of the stand with tubing, which would totally discard the cables
