My last Rowenta lasted 20 years plus ro the brand is fabulous.

Good points:: This is my third Rowenta iron and have had Tefal and Philips Azur previously which aren't a patch on this make.
Bad points:: They don't last much beyond a year, but then no irons do. My past Rowentas started to leak and spot badly - tried to return for a replacement but was told could only repair and gave up in the end as was discouraged as I'd have to send away and they said that if it was deemed that iron had been misused, it would be returned to me with costs incurred. So not good after sales care. Also I had to buy another as I can't be without one.
