The handle sometimes interferes with the aerial as it is so solid. Would have liked to have the ability to choose more favourite channels eg BBC Radio 1 to 7 with corresponding buttons and then favourite stations such as Smooth/ Classical FM & local stations.

Very good sound reproduction for the size of the radio. It will not replace a high end HiFi but with a good signal it is hard to beat without paying more. The live recording is a handy feature. Nice retro look.

When using batteries the life is not supposed to be good, but as this is a radio that is going to stay most of its life in one place (the kitchen) and plugged into the mains then this should not be too much of a problem.
