-
Power pack very expensive on top of original cost.

Score 6.0/10+ Nice styling. Good reception.
- Inadequate tone control for someone who's hearing is not 100%, I find that the sound is too 'mussy', Not enough control to allow a 'sharpening' of the sound. Sorry that this sounds so 'untechnical'! My old Sony VHF had a better sound for me. Sorry I hadn't been able to test before purchase, it was an expensive mistake. At least next time I will investigate further before buying.

Score 8.0/10+ Very good reception of DAB broadcasts and good quality sound overall. The design is pleasing and the optional battery pack is a good idea which I readily purchased.
- The display is too small and limited especially for people with poor eyesight. Tuning and storing of pre-set stations is not intuitive and even though I am in the brown goods trade I found it difficult to do.
