- Good points:
-
It is easy to construct with clear plans and adequate tools with which to do the job.
In use it is fairly simple and offers a reasonable range of programmes providing different levels of effort and speed of activity and the heart monitor function is useful although abit gimmiky. - Bad points:
-
There is no adjustment that allows the user to alter the position of the handlebars on the machine resulting in anyone without very long arms being bent forward when using the machine. This puts considerable undue pressure on the spine and hips and limits the time that one can spend using the machine.
The machine is not very stable in use and can wobble badly under high exertion to the point that it feels unsafe.
Battery life for the display is really quite short and when the batteries fail effectively the machine stops running any programmes, a pain if this happens part way through a programme cycle.
Overall I am dissapointed with the purchase and although I am now convinced of the benefits of a cross trainer I will be looking to buy something better if I am to continue with this form of excercise. All in all I would not recommend this machine from a personal perspective it has been a poor and expensive buy.
