Good points:: I rely on the Polti for my ironing. It takes half the time and is easier on my wrist, which I have a problem with. I also use it for cleaning the carpet, tiled floors, mattresses, bathroom and worktops. Freshening up clothes and curtains. Not much it cannot do.
Bad points:: No bad points

Good points:: Can't fault it as yet - only had it a short time so haven't commented on reliability. But it gives a good dry steam under plenty of pressure to leave surfaces lovely and clean with the minimum of wiping down needed to finish.
Bad points:: None yet!

Good points:: I am very pleased with it, but I'm waiting for my friend who recommended I buy it to come and demostrate how best to use the tools and in which situation.
Bad points:: I didn't feel I got enough explaination from the instruction manual. My friend says she has a video demostration to show me. I will understand a demonstrations better than instruction manual

Good points:: Steaming nooks and crannies.
Bad points:: Very few attachments -nowhere near as many as shown on instruction booklet. Takes a long time to steam clean carpet and not that different afterwards (I've a cream carpet so expected a noticeable improvement).

Good points:: The cleaning performance is really good - especially for a bathroom in a hard water area. Problems with limscale should now be a thing of the past!
Bad points:: It's a little fiddly to use and the time taken to get up to "steam" needs to be absorbed. Although it cleans the kitchen floor well, it takes a little time for the floor to dry afterwards.
