Playstation 3 60GB static console

+ Looks good. Brilliant graphics. Love the motion sensor.

- Not many games on release - no football games at all. Bit pricey.

+ Design is good - looks much better than the PS2. Graphics are excellent.

- My son is eight and there are very few games available for him. I assumed that the PS3 would be compatible with most of his games but none of them are although there is a facility to download upgrades from the internet but this is time-consuming particularly for a child that just wants to be able to play his old games. A CD is available from the makers which we have requested but when it comes - if it does come - then perhaps I will judge the PS3 more favourably.

+ Blu-ray disc player built in, wireless networking straight out of the box and 60GB hard drive without having to make any additional purchases unlike xbox 360. Memory stick slots make transfer of music, photos and game saves very easy. One of the best things of all however, is free internet access.

- Very bulky and not very easy to carry to another room in the house, also, updates that need to be installed each month before signing in to the internet are also a problem, especially as it takes quite a while to download them.

+ Excellent performance, very good media center capabilities and good looks. Future titles are looking excellent, and there's enough good content now to keep you occupied until the big titles are released.

- The console itself is very large, and occupies quite a lot of space (and it needs room to breathe as like all performance consoles and computers it get's quite warm). If you already have a 360 then many of the games are out for that as well, so perhaps no exclusive titles to lure you in until x-mas.

+ its excellent the blue rays are great and the graphics of the ps3 are better than any other

+ very powerful and offers a range of things to do. easy to use and excellent graphics on the games

- not too many titles out yet which make you want to buy the console.

+ grafixs are brilliant and the hd dvds areamazing the quality so clear

+ The PS3 is an excellent piece of kit.
The range of titles is a little disappointing, let's hope the promises of many more titles next year materialise.

+ an excellent system feature packed. a games system and blu ray player for less than the price of a blu ray player.

- still lagging behind the xbox 360 on the game front but hopefully with a little time it should catch up.

- Not many multiplayer games that you can play together, except online

+ The PS3 is a great bit of kit. Good graphics, Blueray compatable, a decent hard drive.

- The size was a bit of a surprise, it was bigger than my origional PS2.

+ Awsome game play and very reliable console

- not a wide range of games yet espically for women and in time im sure they will make the console a little smaller

+ Simple to use......Looks good.....multimedia capability a big plus.

- Inability to play most PS2 games on the console
Graphics and game play not any better than X box 360........I've got an X box 360 and in my opinion it is a better games console at around half the price.
