Pioneer DV-420 DVD Player Reviews

+ Best upscaling Dvd player i have tried. i previously had over a long period of time 4 Pioneer players and this time had trouble obtaining a Pioneer Dvd player as everyone was pushing Blueray !, i explained primarily i wanted a Multiregion Dvd player to play Multiregion Dvds and was told that the Panasonic Blueray player would do this and play Bluerays too, so i tried one at £250 and after the second film i watched on it i began to notice that the playback quality for Dvds ( which i why i had bought it combined with lack of availability of Pioneer player) was in fact much worse than my previous pioneer £80.00 Multiregion player, the next day i switched back to my OLD Pioneer player and returned the Panasonic for a full refund.( not purchased from Hifix .)
Desparate to a Pioneer Dvd player I managed to track down the Pioneer Dv420 player at Hifix for £99.95, i couldnt believe the price, i would have been prepared to pay much much more, i also now own a Pioneer Bdp320, and would say i my opinion the Dv420 plays dvds as close to the quality of the Blueray player playing Dvds at three and a half times the cost.
So happy am i with it that i now own several, in different rooms in my house. Good Points
Its finish matches my PioneerLX5090 .
Its the best Dvd player picture quality ive seen, i would now never even look at another manufacture
Its easy to use.

It plays multiregion where as the Blueray i also own only plays region 2
It upscales and uses Hdmi.
