Seems to be very little the user can do to finely tune the toaster's settings. Anything over setting 4 would cremate a slice of bread. Even on a lowish setting the outsides toast quicker than the inside of the slice meaning you get burnt edges. Turning it down to 2 means you have to toast your bread twice to get anywhere.
Overall great style but not practical!

- Good points:
- Quicker toasting speed than many others on the market. Beeps as well when it is done. We have replaced an enormous 4 slice toaster for this, but due to its speed & then the beep it doesn't hold up the family! It is fairly compact & meant to stand with the shorter width facing you, as in the picture. [Bear this in mind if you would rather one that sits along the back wall, as many toasters do!]
- Bad points:
- Sometimes flip up the toasting rack by error if the toaster is round the wrong way. A little expensive for a 2 slice toaster, but I haven't regretted buying it!
