The slice of bread is not fully toasted as the bread when lowered for
toasting stays above the elements leaving the top 25mm untoasted
which means having to turn the 'toast' over and then toast again for
say a minute to get a fully toasted slice .Also running the risk of burning the rest of the toast
The toaster does not appear to have been designed with todays loaves of bread in mind

A standard slice of white bread will not fit in. The top of the slice is out at the top of the toaster and does not get toasted.
