Score 10.0/10+ This a very impressive versatile machine, recording is simple, playback is simple and copying is simple. Being able to record on HDD whilst watching a DVD is brilliant. I am in love this machine...definitely recommend getting HDMI cable as well good investment as picture quality is amazing through my HD TV.

Easy to set up and use. Slim design looks good.
Pause/rewind Live TV function fantastic (last six hours in buffer) Massive hard drive, so don't have to resort to inferior recording quality! Great image quality from both DVD and hard disk.
- Doesn't make the popcorn!

A large hdd means we rarely need to use discs.
The unit looks good and is very easy to install and set up.

The recorder is not able to load discs into the hdd, which would be good for copying home movies.
The interface complicated to use, and the remote is awkward.

- Let down slightly by annoying time delays in responding to the controls and also on screen menu bar could be less obstructive during viewing.
