At first glance this HDD/DVD recorder combi looks like a contender for bargain of the year. It is nicely designed, with a heavyweight industrial feel and a forthright look, plus, it has what initially appears to be an impressive list of features and apparently has most of the important connections.Perhaps more important is the price - as low as ¬£220 from certain online retailers - which is really an eye-opener for such a combi.But are those first impressions deceptive?
