Score 7.0/10+ Physical design is attractive, takes most i-pods in cradle, not heavy or large but good-sized screen. Will charge i-pod when unit is off.

Worst is really bad software design and function when controlling i-pod from unit. No search facility so have to scroll down thousands of songs alphabetically, terribly old-fashioned looking font, song, album and artist names cut off. In the end I used the 'video' option to control music from the i-pod itself. Maybe Philips could send out software update via the web?
Also keep getting 'reset your i-pod' message when attaching it. First time I restored it on my computer taking several hours before I realised you just had to unplug it and plug in again several times.
