- I have owned an earlier model of this product for years, and it has performed brilliantly. A friend wanted me to get one like it for her but I found that it had been superceded by this heap of junk which can't hold a candle to it's predecessor. I really can't think of anything nice to say about it and can only assume that Phillips has put profit above quality with a vengeance. Don't waste your money, you'd be better off going around second-hand shops in the hope of finding an older model!

- Sound quality was poor. I wanted to play a dio books on it, there was no facility for 'pause', so one had to listen to a whole CD or spend ages trying to find where you were. It would be good for young children.
