Good points:: This is an ideal machine for beginners as well~ it works amazing at anytime and when you grip the body it feels so comfortable and not too heavy for long journey~

Good points:: Interchangable with the old 35mm pentax equipment
Clear and easy to understand controls
Simple to use and good quality photos with shake reduction feature.
Excellent value for the money
Bad points:: Did not come with a carry case
No where to keep the lens cap safe while using

Good points:: Really easy to use - am delighted with picture quality. Cant see the need for more pixels, this is plenty for me. 2gb card allows for 900 photos.

Good points:: Great starter DSLR, easy to figure out functions even without manual, great image quality with kit lens, good features such as sensor cleaning function.
Bad points:: Seemingly incompatible with Windows Vista (although thats down to Microsoft)

There are 2 main types of camera: The SLR and the Compact. SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex. SLR cameras use a prism to reflect the exact image as seen through the lens and so offers a more accurate viewfinder. SLR cameras have detachable lenses offering greater flexibility if you wish to take a variety of different photographs.
