I really like the design of the Panasonic, the build quality of the tv itself is excellent, the remote control is easy to use but feels a bit bulky and cheap (but dont let that put you off). The sound is very good and suits most sizes of room, I am however looking to purchase the slimline additional speakers for this tv soon(if I can get the boss to agree). The picture quality does not dissapoint, I was swithering between LCD or Plasma and I am glad I settled for the Plasma. my mate has a 42" Samsung , bought at the same time for around £70 more and even he thinks that the picture quality on my Panasonic is better by a good bit, especially when watching sports, no real loss of image quality.
Thanks. - Bad points:
- not a lot really, just the build quality of the remote control and the material feels a bit cheap, works fine and does the job.

TV Buyers GuideManufacturer's Description
Full-HD Model with Superb Moving Picture Quality and Advanced Networking Capabilities
400-Hz technology lets you view superb full-HD motion and still images with 900 lines of resolution. Self-illuminating plasma displays feature high moving picture resolution, so there are no more frustrating afterimages in fast-action scenes. You enjoy smooth, clear motion in sports scenes and in the action scenes of movies.
VIERA incorporate an improved panel production process and the new Real Black Drive system. A pre-discharge control system, the Real Black Drive system achieves next-generation black reproduction. When you’re watching movies, VIERA renders images just the way the director intended, even in scenes where it’s difficult to achieve a proper balance of light and dark.
VIERA Link allows interconnected operation of various AV devices using only the VIERA remote control, by simply connecting the devices to each other by an HDMI cable. VIERA Link performance has been further enhanced with LUMIX digital camera connection. By connecting a new LUMIX camera that has an HDMI output terminal to VIERA, you can use the VIERA remote to control the playback of images stored on the camera.
It’s easy to view full-HD images with the SD card slot. Watch and show your photos and motion images right after you take them. Simply insert an SD Memory card into VIERA to display photos and full-HD videos on the large screen. You can also choose from among 3 types of background music and 4 display effects.
V-Audio Surround gives depth-sound-image effect by early-reflection data based on actual room measurement, that is generated from digital signal processor.
