+ Lovely sound at medium and high volumes, Panasonic's H-Bass and customizable EQ let you experience your music beautifully at this price range. The speakers and supplied subwoofer are very powerful and do not distort even at high volumes. The 5 disc CD changer works fairly quickly and lets you intuitively change discs without interrupting the currently playing CD. The USB port is also a nice touch which allows you to vastly expand your music library via mp3 playback using a FAT(32) formatted drive. An auxiliary input (Music Port) is located at the front of the player which provides easy access when connected other devices to use through the Hi-Fi. Panasonic also claim the device uses ~0.5W in standby. I'm unable to comment on the radio as I live in a very poor reception area although it supports RDS which is nice; I'm not sure how many station presets there are because I can only pick up one FM station and don't use AM.

- When connecting a device via Music Port, if the incoming sound clips a horrible distortion plays through the speakers which I fear could cause longterm damage. This can happen in a variety of scenarios with default settings of the input device (e.g. playing an Xbox 360 game). Unfortunately there is no easy way to handle this situation for all scenarios without using an external device to limit the volume and make sure it does not clip. At very low volumes a fair amount of noise can be heard from the speakers when playing cds, although this is only noticable if you are standing directly infront of the speakers at ear level so is almost a non-issue. The cassette deck sounds very mechanical and feels cheap, perhaps a manually ejecting system would have been better. Another minor point is that the clock cannot be displayed during standby for a long period of time, the device will automatically enter a low power state after two seconds meaning you have to hold the clock button on the remote for another two seconds before you can see what the time is (for a brief period of time). Other than the clipping issue when using the Music Port the bad points are really very minor and the good aspects of the Hi-Fi definitely outweight them.

+ I found the PANASONIC SCAK750 system to be an excellent all rounder which really suited my not very demanding needs. The sound was clear and and undistorted even at very high volumes which my daughter is so keen on. The subwoofer and extra base modes and preset equalisers are very effective for a fuller and richer sound. I haven't had this system very long so I am sure I haven't learned all there is to learn about it. What I have learned is that I love it.
I channel the sound from my Tv through the system with excellent results.
I am very pleased with my PANASONIC SCAK750 and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a very good quality, fairly inexpensive system. It is extremely suitable to be the main unit in almost any household. My recommendation?.... Get one!.

- I honestly haven't noticed any bad points since purchasing this item a month or so ago.

+ THE SOUND QUALITY IS GOOD AND VOLUME IS PHENOMENAL . CONTROL OF FUNCTIONS ON THE FACIA ARE SIMPLE AND VERY EASY TO USE AND THERE ARE ALL THE INPUT PORTS YOU NEED FOR TODAYS TECHNOLOGY . THESE GOOD POINTS FAR OUTWEIGH THE MINOR BAD POINTS MENTIONED BELOW .

- I WOULD HAVE LOVED THE OPTION OF HAVING AN AUXILLIARY INPUT AT THE BACK OF THE HIFI . BOTTOM HALF OF HIFI IS A SINGLE TAPE DECK FOR WHICH I HAVE NO USE AT ALL AND I DONT THINK MANY PEOPLE WOULD HAVE MUCH USE FOR NOWDAYS . I WOULD ALSO HAVE LIKED THE OPTION OF BEING ABLE TO HAVE THE DIGITAL CLOCK TO BE DISPLAYED EVEN WHEN THE HIFI IS SWITCHED OFF . THE REMOTE CONTROL COULD HAVE BEEN MADE A LITTLE MORE EYE APPEALING .

+ Plays MP3 cd's. Has USB port (haven't use it yet).Takes multiple cd's. Lot of power.

- Speaker leads not long enough and despite contacting Panasonic asking if they can supply extensions they still haven't replied. Had to cut them and add extra leads. Haven't found how to change channels on radio without entering channel number - can't just go up or down a channel.
