Good points:: I was looking to upgrade froma fairly good point and shoot camera but did'nt want to go to a full DSLR camera,and the G10 was the perfct answer. It feels and handles like a full DSLR and has loads of features in-built to explore and experiment with. You can also add to it with different lenses,it also has a hot shoe for an external flash.You can either use the eye-piece for picture taking or the 3'' lcd screen which is excellent. Overall it is a brilliant package for taking photographs of all subjects.
Bad points:: The only bad points about the camera is the manual that comes with it is difficult to understand and its a pity it did'nt have a swivel screen but thats being super-critical.

Good points:: Easy to handle, well balanced and of very light weight.
Various programme options are straight forward and quick to adjust..
Intelligent Auto function great way to get started and get terrific results before delving into the more advanced options.
Takes pictures in RAW, as well as JPEG, giving greater flexiblity when editing images.
Bad points:: Don't like the supplied neck strap - so purchased more substantial strap on High St.
Otherwise there are no bad points for me.
