- Good points:
- Good clear screen, ease of use, setup of controls very much improved over previous versions.
- Bad points:
- Obviosly not to increase price this phone has less bells and whistles over previous version, i.e. less ring tones and inability to give individuals/groups personalised tones.

- Bought as a pack with two DECT repeaters yet handbook of phone says only one DECT repeater can be used. So not sure what to do with the second repeater as seems impossible to log onto the DECT system once one repeater is already on line. HOwever this in itself is not an issue of the single base station and four phone system which in itself is fine.

The KX-TG8521 includes 1 Handset and 1 Base Unit with integrated Charger.
The large, 2.0-inch screen is easy to-read, and the GUI-like icon-based menu screen lets you access functions without confusion. The rubberised grip on the back of the handset makes it more comfortable to talk while resting the phone on your shoulder.
Thanks to Unique Technology, each handset can be programmed to prevent ringing during specific time periods, so you will not be woken up by the phone.
Messages recorded with the build-in answering machine can be listed in name or phone number order. You can choose and listen to only the messages you want to, saving time and avoiding listerning to unwanted calls.
The hands-free speakerphone lets you talk on the phone even when you’re busy cooking, cleaning, using your PC, or doing just about anything. It’s also handy for taking notes, typing, etc. You can store up to 100 names and numbers in the built-in-memory. You can know who is calling before you answer if you have subscribed to the Caller ID service provided by your local telephone company: The LCD displays caller’s name (requires registration in phonebook) and number.
